At K9 Solutions Australia's Virtus House Kennel (formerly Non Vactro Kennel), we know how important genetics are and painstakingly select bitches we want to breed. We know their ancestry and because we work them, we know their trainability strengths and weakness. We look for combinations that will produce the dogs we need, strong, agile, substantial, high prey, excellent trainability and very good nerves is always our goal.
We start with the highest quality dogs available and only breed dogs that have passed the most rigorous health and temperament testing. Breeding pairs are handpicked and thoroughly scrutinised in order to produce canines that are highly driven, bold and outgoing, possesses a strong hunt drive and thrives on play reward. Solid temperament, working ability and medical soundness are just some of the standards we use to select our sires and dams for the program.
From the moment Virtus House Kennel's pups are born, we progress them through an extensive program of environmental enrichment and exposure to ensure a stable and confident working dog once they are out in the field. Our early imprinting and training ensures our dogs are best prepared for future training once they leave our care.
We're not a large volume producer of working dogs, our single goal is the absolute reliability of the product: a focused, clear headed and stable working dog. We don't breed many litters, we're not a farm, we breed for ourselves and usually only require one or two pups and offer the rest or sale. If you want a K9SA puppy, you'll need to pre order to avoid disappointment.
Our breeding program is built on our vast experience developing dogs to support military and law enforcement activities.
Kibby is K9SA's matriarch and from our highly successful VC Litter. Daughter to Bansia, sister to proven Police Dog Pope and Maygar (R.I.P.) and sister to proven producer K9SA Cash.
Balanced is an appropriate word to describe Kibby. She's a robust, very high drive bitch with excellent nerves, territorial yet social and an ideal family pet. She has exceptional military, police and special forces breeding intertwined in her linage.
